Terms of sale
This is a courtesy translation. Only the French version of this page is legally binding.
Article 1. Seller and scope
These terms of sale apply to all sales concluded on the website www.globalrunners.org or by e-mail from it. The seller is REIDROCHA EURL, share capital €2,000, Mulhouse Trade and Companies Register 888 435 914, EU VAT number FR51888435914, registered office: 17 rue du Jura, 68440 Dietwiller, France, represented by Charlotte Cordier, managing director and majority partner, which runs the Global Runners activity (hereinafter "the Seller"). Contact: contact@globalrunners.org, +33 (0)7 85 08 34 27.
They apply to private individuals (hereinafter "the Customer") living in France, Switzerland or another country where the Seller agrees to deliver. Placing an order means accepting these terms of sale, which can be consulted at any time on this page.
Article 2. Products
The products offered are described on the Shop page (material, colours, sizes). Photos are as accurate as possible; slight differences in colour may occur depending on the screen. Products are offered while stocks last.
Article 3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, including all taxes (VAT included). Delivery costs are shown to the Customer before the order is confirmed; hand delivery at a Global Runners event is free. For delivery outside the European Union, in particular to Switzerland, any customs duties and import taxes are payable by the Customer.
Article 4. Ordering
The Customer orders through the contact form or by e-mail, stating the items, sizes, quantities and delivery address. The Seller sends the Customer a summary by e-mail (items, total price including VAT, delivery costs and time, payment terms). The order becomes final when the Customer confirms this summary and payment is received; the Seller then sends a confirmation and the invoice.
Article 5. Payment
Payment is made by bank transfer or by secure payment link sent by the Seller. The Seller never has access to the Customer's full bank details. The order is shipped once payment has been received.
Article 6. Delivery
Products are delivered to the address given by the Customer, by La Poste or another carrier, within the time stated in the summary and no later than 30 days after the order (Article L216-1 of the French Consumer Code). In the event of delay, the Customer may cancel the order under the conditions of Article L216-6 and be refunded. The risk of loss or damage passes to the Customer upon receipt of the products. The Customer reports any damaged parcel to the carrier and to the Seller on receipt.
Article 7. Right of withdrawal
The Customer has 14 days from receipt of the products to exercise the right of withdrawal, without having to give a reason (Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code). It is enough to send the Seller a clear statement, for example by e-mail to contact@globalrunners.org, or the model below:
"To REIDROCHA EURL, Global Runners, 17 rue du Jura, 68440 Dietwiller, France: I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the sale of the following goods: … Ordered on … / received on … Name, address, date and signature (if sent on paper)."
The Customer returns the products, unworn and in their original condition, within 14 days of the withdrawal; return costs are borne by the Customer. The Seller refunds all sums paid, including the initial delivery costs (on the basis of standard delivery), within 14 days of the withdrawal, using the same means of payment; the Seller may withhold the refund until the products have been received.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to products made to the Customer's specifications or clearly personalised, for example a T-shirt printed with their first name (Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code).
Article 8. Legal guarantees
Products benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity (Articles L217-3 to L217-20 of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (Articles 1641 to 1649 of the French Civil Code).
Under the legal guarantee of conformity, the Customer has two years from delivery of the goods to take action; they can obtain repair or replacement of the goods or, failing that, a price reduction or cancellation of the sale. During this period, they do not have to prove that the defect existed at the time of delivery. Under the guarantee against hidden defects, the Customer may choose between cancellation of the sale and a price reduction, within two years of discovering the defect.
Article 9. Use of income
Sales are not made by a charity but by REIDROCHA EURL, which records them in accounts dedicated to Global Runners. Once production and shipping costs are covered, income is used in the following order:
- to run the website and the group (hosting, tools, equipment);
- to organise Global Runners events;
- depending on sales, for donations to recognised French charities working for animals and the environment, presented on the Our charities page.
No percentage is guaranteed in advance. Every year, Global Runners publishes on the website the total amount of donations made and the names of the charities that received them. Buying a product is not a donation: it does not entitle the Customer to a tax receipt or tax reduction.
Article 10. Customer service and complaints
For any question or complaint: contact@globalrunners.org. The Seller replies within 7 days.
Article 11. Consumer mediation
After a written complaint that has not been resolved, the Customer may use a consumer mediator free of charge (Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code): [To be completed: name, address and website of the mediator chosen by REIDROCHA].
Article 12. Personal data
The data needed for the order is processed in accordance with the privacy policy.
Article 13. Applicable law and disputes
These terms of sale are governed by French law. A Customer living in another country keeps the protection granted by the mandatory rules of their country of residence. Failing an amicable agreement, the dispute is brought before the competent court; a consumer Customer may choose to refer the matter to the court of their place of residence or that of the place of delivery.
