Privacy policy

This is a courtesy translation. Only the French version of this page is legally binding.

Article 1. Our commitment

We collect as little data as possible, only to reply to you and to process your orders. We do not sell it, rent it or use it for advertising.

This policy complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), French Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 known as the "Informatique et Libertés" Act and, for people located in Switzerland, the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and its ordinance (DPO).

Article 2. Data controller

REIDROCHA EURL, which runs the Global Runners activity, 17 rue du Jura, 68440 Dietwiller, France, Mulhouse Trade and Companies Register 888 435 914, represented by Charlotte Cordier, managing director and majority partner. Contact: contact@globalrunners.org.

Given its size and activities, REIDROCHA is not required to appoint a data protection officer: your requests are handled directly by its managing director.

Article 3. The data we process

  • Contact form: name, e-mail address, subject and message. They are sent by e-mail, from our host's server, to our mailbox: the website itself does not keep them. To block abusive sending, the server keeps for one hour at most a counter of messages linked to an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address (never the address itself).
  • Shop orders: name, e-mail address, delivery address, items ordered, size, payment and invoice. We never receive your full bank details.
  • Technical data: as on any website, our host records the IP address and the date of connections in its logs, for the security of the website.

No cookies, no audience measurement, no profiling and no automated decision-making are used on the website.

Article 4. Why, and on what legal basis

  • Replying to your messages: steps taken at your request and legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR).
  • Processing your orders, delivering them and handling after-sales service: performance of the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)).
  • Meeting our obligations in accounting and tax: legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
  • Securing the website and preventing abuse: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).

We send you no newsletter without your explicit consent.

Article 5. Retention periods

  • Message with no follow-up: 3 years after the last exchange.
  • Order data: for the duration of the order and the guarantees, then 5 years (general limitation period).
  • Invoices and accounting documents: 10 years (Article L123-22 of the French Commercial Code).
  • Host's technical logs: 12 months at most.
  • Contact form anti-abuse counter: 1 hour at most.

Article 6. Who receives your data

Your data is intended for Global Runners (REIDROCHA EURL) only. It may be passed on, strictly within the limits of their task, to:

  • our host, o2switch, whose servers are located in France, which hosts the website and sends the contact form messages;
  • our domain name provider, OVHcloud, whose servers are located in France, which forwards e-mails sent to contact@globalrunners.org to our mailbox;
  • our mailbox provider, Gmail (Google), which receives these e-mails and the contact form messages;
  • the carrier responsible for delivering your order;
  • our accountant and, upon request, the authorised authorities.

Article 7. Transfers outside the European Union

The Gmail service is provided by Google, some of whose servers are located in the United States. This transfer is governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google adheres, and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Exchanges with people located in Switzerland rely on the mutual adequacy decisions between the European Union and Switzerland.

Article 8. Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), without a database or plug-ins, which greatly reduces the risk of intrusion. The contact form is protected against bots without any tracker. Access to messages and orders is restricted to the managing director. In the event of a data breach presenting a risk to you, we notify the CNIL within 72 hours, the FDPIC as soon as possible and you yourself where the law requires it.

Article 9. Your rights

At any time, you have the right:

  • of access to your data and to information about its processing;
  • to rectification and erasure;
  • to restriction of processing and to object;
  • to data portability;
  • to withdraw your consent where it was given;
  • in France, to set instructions regarding your data after your death.

To exercise them, write to contact@globalrunners.org or by post to REIDROCHA EURL, Global Runners, for the attention of Charlotte Cordier, 17 rue du Jura, 68440 Dietwiller, France. We reply within one month (GDPR) and, for people in Switzerland, within 30 days (FADP).

Article 10. Complaints

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can contact:

  • in France, the CNIL: 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07, www.cnil.fr;
  • in Switzerland, the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC): Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, www.edoeb.admin.ch.

This policy may change, in particular if we add a service. See also the legal notice, the Cookies page and the terms of sale.
